Days 2 - 3 - 4

We've had a busy weekend around here! Here is a "photo journal" of our ADVENTure activities.

 Hayden's turn to unveil the Nativity piece and activity.

 "Decorate our house with beautiful Christmas things that remind us of Jesus' birth."

Even Gracie was prepared to get all the boxes of decorations out of the attic with Daddy.

(But all she really wanted to do was pop the bubble wrap.)

I asked Carter to unravel this
mess of lights for me ;)

He gave it a valiant effort.

 Noah's turn: "Decorate our Christmas tree!  Enjoy the memories the ornaments remind us of."

 The kids' cousin, Olivia, got to help with the ornaments too!  And surprise, surprise... Daddy is the best ladder.  What do you think about that like-father/like-son smile?

Noah and Hayden compared themselves to Daddy's 4-yr-old picture.

 Whoops! Gracie searching intently for an ornament that got lost in the branches.

Our beautiful tree!!  ---->

We reminisced on all of our special ornaments collected over the years.  Their favorites were the family ones we got each year there was a new addition as well as the new ornament each kidlet gets to pick out at the end of the year.

Daddy told them how he used to lay down under the tree after it had been decorated and admire his good work.  They thought this was a great idea...

Levi's turn!  He gets to place a camel on the Nativity scene.

 We finished out the evening by helping Grandma Kathy decorate her tree.  She was grateful to have the eager helping hands.

 Until the next update, I hope you all are making time for Jesus this Christmas season and
DON'T FORGET TO INVITE HIM TO HIS OWN BIRTHDAY!!
